I hope this means I will be good at dating when the time comes

This boy who likes my sister is always respectful to my parents. My mom likes him very much because of this

My sister goes crazy if you eat the wrong kind of tuna, but here was this guy hitting her, and she didn’t say anything. She just got soft and nice. And she asked me to leave, which I did. After the boy had left, she said that they were “going out” and not to tell mom or dad what happened.

On Friday night, I was reading my new book, but my brain got tired, so I decided to watch some television instead.

The point, though, is that there is a guy in shop class named “Nothing”. I’m not kidding. His name is “Nothing”.

My brother used to tell Polish jokes, which I know is wrong, but I just blocked out the Polish part and listened to the jokes. Hilarious.

The teacher said that a should use the vocabulary words that I learn in class , like “corpulent “ and “jaundice”

I think it’s nice for stars to do interviews to make us think they are just like us

When my dad finished making his sandwich, he put away the things in the refrigerator and stopped crying and wiped his eyes and saw me.

Then, he walked up, patted my shoulder, and said, “This is our little secret, okay, champ?” “Okay”, I said.

You know… a lot of kids at school hate their parents. Some of them got hit. And some of them were trophies to their parents to show the neighbors like ribbons or gold stars. And some of them just wanted to drink in peace.

I was just kind of watching people, seeing who was in love and who was just hanging around.

Incidentally, Sam has brown hair and very very pretty green eyes.

The nice thing about the Big Boy was the fact that Patrick and Sam didn’t just throw around inside jokes and make me struggle to keep up. Not at all.

I looked at them, and they look very happy together. A good kind of happy.

I thought Sam was very pretty and nice, and she was the first girl I ever wanted to ask on a date someday when I can drive.

She said that she thought I was being cute. And she said it was okay that I had a dream about her.

Sam then asked me if I thought she was pretty, and I told her I thought she was “lovely “.

Then Bill told me “Charlie, we accept the love we think we deserve”

It was one of those days that I didn’t mind going to school because the weather was so pretty. The sky was overcast with clouds, and the air felt like a warm bath.

Best phrases, for me, of the pages 81 - 120

Sam then gave me a hug, and it was strange, but after a few moments, I could smell Sam’s perfume, and I could feel her body against me.

I look at people holding hands in the hallways, and I try to about how it all works

What I mean is that I want to be able to tell my kids that I walked to school like my grandparents did in the “old days”

I can tell you one thing about my family … when my mom does say something, she always gets her way.

I turned around and walked to my room and closed my door and put my head under my pillow and let the quiet put things where they are supposed to be.

I was so happy when she said “Charlie-esque” since it felt like an inside joke of sorts.

My sister is still mad at me, but my dad said I did the right thing. I hope that I did, but it’s hard to tell sometimes.

When I write letters, I spend the next two days thinking about what I figured out my letters.

God! College is such a trial. My professor is making me read twenty-seven books this weekend.

Sam told me during the game that they were going over to their friend’s house later for a party. Then, she asked me if I wanted to go, and I said yes because I had never been to a party before.

I got really mad. It kind of scared me how mad I got.

After the song finished, I said something… “I feel infinite”.

I once had a beer with my brother when I was twelve, and I just didn’t like it.

Sam sat down next to me and held my hand, which felt cool

Patrick then said something (about me) I don’t dink I’ll ever forget, “He’s a wallflower”

He sat down next to me and said “You see things. You keep quiet about them. And you understand”

I started to cry. And nobody in that room looked at me weird for doing it. And then I really started to cry.

Bob raised his drink and asked everyone to do the same. “To Charlie”

And the whole group said “To Charlie”

I didn’t know why they did that, but it was very special to me that they did. Especially Sam. Especially her.

I did try to dance like Bill suggested, but I usually like songs you can’t dance to, so I didn’t do it too much.

Sam did look very pretty in her dress, but I was trying not to notice because I’m trying not to think of her that way.

Patrick started driving really fast, and just before we got to the tunnel, Sam stood up, and the wind turned her dress into oceans waves… When we got out of the tunnel, Sam screamed this really fun scream, and there it was… Sam sat down and started laughing. Patrick started laughing. I started laughing.

And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.

Summary of the last part of the book

In this last part of the text, the history comes a little more interesting. The boy, Charlie, becomes more convivial. He decided to help to Sam, the girl that he loves, to entrance to de University, only to have an opportunity with her.

Also, Patrick, the stepbrother of Sam, is getting better, because his relationship with his boyfriend improve. They are very happy together.

On Christmas day, Charlie goes to a party with his new friends. There they make a kind of gift exchange, on it the person who receives the present must say who gave it. The Charlie’s present was new pants, a shirt, a belt and socks. He really doesn’t know who gave him the present. Finally, Patrick told him that he was, but that the rest of the gift was in the bathroom. He returns with a very elegant suit. Patrick told him that he decided to give it because every great writer must have a great suit. Charlie felt very flattered. The Charlie’s birthday was that day, so, Sam gave him a kiss and said that she want that the first kiss that he has was with a person who loves him. Charlie felt very well, that was his better day of his life.

Everything goes right until a Charlie’s friend told him to be her boyfriend. Charlie didn’t want it, but said yes only to get jealous Sam. He doesn’t feel good about it, but his girlfriend was very happy. He didn’t know what to do and how broke with Mary, his girlfriend. So, one day in a party, all the friends were truth or dare, and Charlie decided “dare”. Patrick told him that he must kiss to the most beautiful girl in the room. Charlie immediately kissed to Sam, even when he had a relationship with Mary, who was next to him. Everyone in the room stay silent until Mary goes away crying. Patrick told to Charlie that he should apart of them until the things calm down.

Charlie didn’t saw to his friend on 2 weeks. He didn’t know anything about them. One day he heard that the Patrick-boyfriend’s father had surprised to the both while they were kissing. The students of the school don’t know anything about it, but they know what happened. At the rest time, a friend of the Patrick’s ex-boyfriend threw Patrick, so he told to Bob, the Patrick’s ex-boyfriend, that he was a coward and hit him. The Bob’s friends hit him, so Charlie went to defend to his friend and started to hit those guys. Everyone were surprised, Sam too. After that moment, Charlie was forgiven. Everything was ok again.

A cart from the University came to Sam and it said that she was accepted. Charlie comes very sad, because she will go far away, but he doesn´t say anything.

Charlie was there in the last night of Sam in the city. He finally decided to tell Sam that he was in love with her. She cried when heard that and start to kiss him. In the next day she kissed him and hugged him after she left the city.

Finally he fell in a shock, because he remembered that his aunt abused him when he was young. Whit his family help he could affront the situation and continues writing to his mysterious friend. One day, Sam and Patrick went to the Charlie’s house and ask for Charlie. They told him how the University environment is, and Sam gave him discs with the song that they heard when they used go out as friends. The decided to go out a drive into the tunnel and shout… In that moment they were “infinite”.
